* We have received reports that the bulk carrier OCEAN WINNER (IMO: 9145530) capsized and subsequently sank approximately 240 nautical miles off the coast of Paradip, India, on 22 August 2026.
* It is reported that the vessel lost its AIS signal, developed a permanent list, and sank within eight minutes.
* It is reported that the local Coast Guard rescued two crew members, while the remaining 22 crew members remain missing.
* There will likely be loss or damage to cargo and this will give rise to Recovery issues.
