We have received the following updated casualty report:

* We understand that the SINGAPORE BRIDGE was taken under tow by the Offshore Tug FAIRMOUNT EXPEDITION on the 13 November 2021. Whilst her destination is not yet known she appears to be heading towards Sri Lanka, where she may anchor for repairs prior to continuing her planned port rotation.

* It remains possible that salvage issues may arise, but it is more likely that GA will be declared in due course. If so, General Average security may be required from all Cargo Interests prior to the delivery of their cargo and we are likely to be able to assist in that regard.

* We therefore suggest that you advise us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we may take the appropriate measures to protect your interests in this matter at the appropriate time.

* We have received reports that fully cellular container carrier, SINGAPORE BRIDGE, went adrift in a position approximately 70 nautical miles west of the Nicobar Islands on 11 November 2021, presumably as a result of an engine or mechanical failure on board the vessel.

* It is possible that General Average / Salvage and associated recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty. It is also possible that the casualty to the vessel will result in a prolongation of the voyage which may adversely affect the vessel's sailing schedule and the delivery of any time-sensitive cargo.

* We therefore recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
